Malinoski Shines at the Milwaukee Mile

The AMSOIL/U.S. Air Force/Makita team continued its charge towards a championship as the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series wrapped up two exciting days of racing at the infamous Milwaukee Mile.

In the AMSOIL Pro Open class, Robbie Malinoski took part in a four sled competition for three podium spots. Malinoski started ninth off the line but pushed his AMSOIL sponsored sled into fourth after just a few laps. With his fourth place finish, he moved into third overall. Teammate Andrew Johnstad had a good day of racing as he entered the final as the number three qualifier. While running in fifth, he got caught up with another rider, bushing him out of the top ten. Johnstad currently sits tenth overall in the open class.

In pro super stock, Malinoski was again in the mix, pushing as high as third before finishing fourth. Johnstad did not qualify for the stock final.

In semi-pro racing, AMSOIL/Scheuring rider Joe Fallen picked up his first career podium in semi-pro on Saturday, finishing third. He finished 14th on Sunday and sits seventh overall.

The next stop in the series takes the teams to the Western National in Sandy, Utah on January 9. The third event of the series will take place at the state-of-the art Rio Tinto stadium.
